Description
One letter from English landscape artist and illustrator Henry George Hine to Helen Allingham thanking Helen for her kind letter and inquiring whether he had shared his address with her previously. Hine mentions that he has recovered from his "weakness" which affected him the last time the two met. Hine writes that he sympathizes with Helen's recent loss of Tennyson, and mentions a dear friend of his own recently passed. Hine writes that his wife joins him in sending kind wishes to Helen and the children. In post-scripts, Hine encourages Helen to write if she has the time. Letter's paper contains a watermark for C. Goddall & Son, Ltd.
