Description
One letter from British conservative politician Henry Thurstan Holland,Viscount Knutsford to Helen Allingham regarding the book "The Letters to William Allingham." Knutsford acknowledges his pleasure at reading how other people admired William Allingham's poetry. He mentions that he has read several friend's letters, such as William Thackeray, Monckton Milnes, Browning, and Woolner. In a post-script, Knutsford inquires about obtaining a bust or picture of William Allingham for the National Portrait Gallery. He also notes that Helen's pencil sketch done in 1874 was very good.
