One letter and accompanying envelope from British conservative politician Henry Thurstan Holland, Viscount Knutsford to Helen Allingham informing her of his intentions to speak with a Mr. W. Holmes regarding both the pencil sketch and bust of William Allingham. Knutsford hopes that the bust will be taken into consideration. Knutsford asks that Helen wait to recieve a letter from himself regarding the issues. Knutsford shares that he would very much like to have something of William Allingham in the gallery's collection. The accompanying envelope is addressed to Helen in Hampstead, and is post-marked February 16, 1912. The letter's paper contains a watermark for "The Buckingham Note," for the company Army & Navy Stores.
