Description
One letter from Dutch painter Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema to English barrister and art dealer Marcus Bourne Huish. Alma-Tadema writes to request an edition of Helen Allingham's book Happy England. He mentions that he has always been a fan of Helen's and would like to own the reproductions of her work accompanied by the descriptions written by Huish. In a postscript, Alma-Tadema writes that he has enclosed the charge for the subscription order. The letter's paper contains a watermark for The Buckingham Note, for the Army & Navy Stores.
