He notes by the time the current letter arrives, Helen would have met Mr. Morse, and plans to ask him the possibility of Henry working for him in England. Henry mentions changes he plans to implement on his Buckboard. Henry also discusses the experience he is gaining at his position with Morse Chain Co.
