Description
One letter from Henry Allingham to his mother Helen Allingham, informing Helen he took his motorcycle up to Ithaca, but once arrived was unable to drive due to the high temperatures causing the engine to overheat. Henry also describes Madeleine's birthday picnic, and draws Helen a picture of its location next to the river. Henry writes he is seeing Edna for the last time as she is returning to Brooklyn, and Charlie encourages him to find another someone "special." Henry mentions it is a shame no one wants Helen's pictures of Venice.
