Interpretation | The World's Columbian Exposition ran from May 1 to October 30, 1893. The Woman's Building, which was organized by women, was east of the Midway Plaisance at the north end of the lagoon. The building was 199 feet wide and 388 feet long. The exhibits included a model hospital and a model kindergarten. One of the most notable parts of the building was the library with printed works and manuscripts by women.Flinn, J., ed.
