| Description | Decorative tri-fold box containing facsimile reproductions of 13 issues of the Rail Splitter, a campaign newspaper for Abraham Lincoln's 1860 bid for the presidency. Also included are the Lincoln Room Memorial plate, and three backed sheets of paper. The two small pieces of paper read "The Railsplitter for 1860" below an artistic representation of Lincoln. The larger sheet provides information about the facsimile reprodction set of The Railsplitter. |
