Description | Victorian open balloon-back side chair. Top rail has carved flowers: two roses in middle, two nine-petal flowers with leaves at sides. Middle rail is curved and has four petal flowers with leaf motif. Modified shield-shaped seat, front legs Cyma curved and have leaf motif carving on front side, slightly rounded at back and sides into point feet. Back legs slightly curved, two large round-head wooden pegs in back leg and side rail. Upholstered in needlepoint. H 34" x W 17" x S 16". |
