Description
One letter from English writer and critic William Michael Rossetti to Helen Allingham, regarding a letter from his brother Dante Gabriel Rossetti to William Allingham. Rossetti explains to Helen it was Coventry Patmore who introduced him and his brother to William Allingham, sometime around 1851. He believes Woolner was one of the earliest to know Helen's husband. Rossetti also mentions Michael Halliday. In a postscript, Rossetti informs Helen he purchased her husband's memoir and found it very pleasant. There is a note on the first page written in Helen's hand mentioning Michael Halliday.
