Interpretation
By 1934, independent front suspension with coil springs provided an easy ride on rough roads, but floating power and hydraulic brakes were still their major selling point. The De Luxe models had several added features: a foot dimmer control for headlights, a voltage regulator, a vibration dampener, better brake drums and deeper frames. In the first six months of 1934 Plymouth shipped 235,215 cars (of all models) for sale.
