Description | Drawing for an advertisement |
Interpretation | The most noticeable identifying characteristic of the Hupmobile was the unusually tall filler neck on the radiator. These improvements were offered on the 1921 models: a windshield wiper as standard equipment; re-designed fenders which closely followed the contour of the wheels; better upholstery in fabric or leather; outside door handles; and most were painted in a color that came to be known as “Hupmobile Blue”, with black fenders. These cars sold for about $1185. |
