| Description | One postcard from French literary critic Joseph Milsand to William Allingham written in French, from Milsand's home in Neuilly. Milsand writes to Allingham informing him that he handed the letter to the cook of Victor Hugo, but had made of mistake regarding the address of Victor Hugo, and had written it as the Avenue d'Eylau. He mentions Mrs. Allingham's illness, he calls it "esquinancie," which is an infection of the tonsils. Milsand says that despite his nature of being an invalid he would have liked to see both Allingham and his wife. Signed with kind regards from Joseph Milsand. He includes a note to give kisses to the children. |
