Description
One letter from English decorative artist and writer William Morris to William Allingham regarding the a bust that would be put in the Abbey. Morris states that he felt no great enthusiasm regarding the statue, and says that he shares Allingham's sentiments. Morris shares that he feels that he is wasting his time not living in the country, but mentions that his garden is a tolerable substitute. He invites Allingham and Mrs. Allingham to dine with him sometime this week, mentions Thursday, and encourages Allingham to name a day if that does not work. Morris also invites Allingham to his property Hampton Court, by water when the tide settles.
