One letter from English decorative artist and writer William Morris to William Allingham informing Allingham that Morris' wife will not be able to join them on Friday because their daughter Jenny coms home from school that day. Morris writes that the best solution would be for him to come on his own on Friday, but invites Allingham and Mrs. Allingham to dine at the Morris residence sometime next week.
