One letter from German-born philologist and Orientalist Max Müller to William Allingham informing Allingham that he intends to give a series of 3 lectures on "Language as the true barrier between Man and Beast," at the Royal Institution in London in March. Müller wonders whether they would be suitable for Fraser's, and inquires about meeting with Allingham in town to discuss the matter more fully. Letter's paper contains a watermark for A. Annanbale & Sons papermaking.
