Turner writes to Judge Reynolds that he is "tired of seeing the great Industrial [] of this state ignored, and trodden under foot by litterary [sic], professional and political Demagogues, and I won't cooperate with them, so help me God, Governors or no Governors, friends or no friends." Although Turner writes that he denied the invitation to be on Governor Yates' committe, he will still help.
