Description | Deep rectangular wooden frame, identical to LIHO 325. Contains picture of Daniel Webster. He wears a dark suit and bow tie with a high-collared shirt. He has deep-set eyes and heavy eyebrows. L 15" x W 13 1/2". |
Interpretation | Daniel Webster was one of Abraham Lincoln's favorite writers. Although it is not known what pictures Mr. Lincoln had in his bedroom, it was common during his lifetime to display images of people one admired. |
