Mother is the Bravest Hero of Them All Verse: With the battles’ fury spent, night has spread its starry tent, o’er the field where countless heroes fell. Heroes brave and heroes true, heroes who have dared to do, brave deeds than tongue or pen can tell. As the scene draws to a close, say a prayer for each of those, who with hearts of steel have stood the test. They are heroes ev’ryone, but when all is said and done, there is one far braver than the rest. Refrain: Mother is the bravest hero of them all, mother is the first to heed her country’s call
Though you may not find her name, in the nations “Hall of fame,” she’s the bravest hero just the same. Let your voices praise each true and loyal son, who has fought and conquered since the world begun
But bless the name of “Mother,” for she’s the bravest hero of them all! Verse: Think of all the weary years, spent in heartaches and in tears, still she never faltered as she fought. Ever striving with a will, as she helped you up the hill,
