Description
One letter from English writer Mary Brotherton to Helen Allingham requesting a favor of Helen. Brotherton asks Helen to ask to inquire about the author of several lines of verse written in French at the beginning of the previous chapter of "Trilby." Brotherton mentions the summertime weather, and mentions suffering from influenza. Brotherton informs Helen that she will be releasing a volume of poetry simultaneously in America and in England, with the publisher John Lane.
