Description
This is a map of McLean County railroads and grain elevators in 1900.
Interpretation
By 1900, railroads had extended to southern and southeast McLean County. In addition, every town in the county had a grain elevator because of the high emphasis on agriculture.
Inscription
Railroads at the end of the nineteenth century. Note how they have extended into the southern and eastern part of the county. (MCHS)
