Lyrics | We’ll Sing for Sammy Land Verse: We’re marching off to do our little bit beyond the sea. We’re going forth to whip the Hun and set the whole world free. We’re out to win, we’re not afraid to tackle anything. Particularly Kaiser Bill, so listen as we sing. Refrain: We’ll sing as we sail away from Sammy Land to make this world safe for Democracy. We’ll sing when we cross the Rhine to Kaiser land to put the finish to Autocracy. We’ll sing when we’re marching back with victory won for our flag so grand. We’ll sing for Red, white and Blue, the flags of our Allies too and Sammie [sic] Land. Verse: We’re coming back, we’re coming back so don’t doubt you have a fear. Though some of us will fall in ranks our spirit will be here. So dry your tears and give three cheers our hats are in the ring. We’re all your boys so make a noise and join us as we sing. Refrain |
