Interpretation | The stock farm and residence of Dennis Kenyon in Mount Hope Township illustrates the geographic layout of farms in the late 1800s. The cabin in the back, was first built as shelter when the family settled the land and it eventually served a secondary role. |
Inscription | The Dennis Kenyon homestead as it appeard in the 1874 Atlas of McLean County. Note the log cabin whcih survives in a clearly secondary role. (MCHS) |
