One letter from British legal scholar and historian Frederic Harrison to William Allingham mentioning a conversation Harrison had with Mr. Thomas Carlyle regarding a memorial and Carlyle becoming a suscriber. Harrison mentions that he will be going to Paris in August. He also mentions a J. Coffer Morison, whom Harrison reccomends to Allingham regarding French history. This letter is written on paper made by A Pirie & Sons and the watermark is dated 1873.
