He also shares that he is painting some children's potraits. He also got a letter from shared aquaintance Albert Goodwin from Dartmoor, who writes about being ill for two months. Hughes also asks Allingham to give his regards to Mrs. Allingham, and hopes to meet her again soon. The letter's paper contains a watermark A. Pirie & Sons, with the date 1878.
