One letter from the daughter of George Petrie and probable landscape painter, Mary A. (Marianne) Petrie to William Allingham wondering whether Allingham had thought about her since their last meeting, btu requests not to know his opinion of her as it might make her uncomfortable. She apologizes for not sending Dr. Siegfried's photographs sooner, as she was gone from home. She shares that her father is away from home currently visiting Lord Dunraven. She shares that they have her sister Gene's friends, from Lincolnshire a Miss Baylays, whom Allingham may be familiar with. Petrie signs her letter "Marianne Petrie," instead of "Mary A." as previously used. The letter's paper contains a watermark for A Pirie & Sons.
