Description | One letter from British painter and illustrator Frederick Walter to William Allingham, informing Allingham that he received his letter and informs him that he will be leaving town in the next few days. Walter explains that upon his return he will be seeing the works sent to the Gallery of the Society of Painters in Watercolors, and expresses his satisfaction that Mrs. Allingham intends on becoming a candidate for the society. Walker thanks Allingham for the invitation, but writes that he has been ill and will soon be able to see friends again. The letter's paper contains a watermark for Busbridge & Co. Superfine. |
