From the earth to the sky came humanity’s cry, for freedom forever for all, and echoing clear sounds a message of cheer, our country has answered the call. With glory unfurled we will show to the world, no tyrant our cause may enthrall, and ne’er will we stop going over the top, for freedom forever for all. Freedom for all forever, freedom forever for all, the bonds that would bind us we’ll sever, united we’ll answer the call! We still have an old Yankee notion, no matter what e’er may befall, that “Columbia’s the gem of the ocean,” with freedom forever for all. In the van with the rest may our efforts be blessed, for freedom forever for all, with duty well done and a peace justly won, with honor to both great and small, though loved ones we give that sweet liberty live, with pride in our hearts we’ll recall, the ones who did dare, with their lives over there, for freedom forever for all.
