  • The Call of the U.S.A. Verse: Now the war is on and the time has come for each soldier boy to part, From his sweetheart true and his mother too, who is dearest to his heart. He must go all know to fight the foe, Uncle Sam calls upon him today, To get ready now and go, then strike a crushing blow, and fight for the U.S.A. Refrain: There are men from most ev’ry nation in the ranks of Uncle Sam, And no matter where they come from, they are loyal ev’ry man, To the Stars and Stripes forever, and will fight both night and day.
