Sorry, we couldn't find anything matching "A letter from John H. Berry, a Union soldier in the 126th Illinois Infantry, to Sophronia McNitt. Berry wrote of his experience in Mississippi, including a visit to Vicksburg, and asked for news at home. This is the last letter in the collection from Berry, who returned to Montgomery County and died in December 1863.".
