Sorry, we couldn't find anything matching "The 1916 design for the half dollar was awarded to Adolph A. Weinman as the result of a competition. Walking Liberty half-dollars were minted from 1916 until 1947. However, none were minted in 1922, or between 1924-26 and 1930-32. The Walking Liberty coins were the last regular issue coins to feature Miss Liberty. However, the design was so admired that it has appeared on the one-ounce American Eagle coin since 1986.
