Sorry, we couldn't find anything matching "The World's Columbian Exposition ran from May 1 to October 30, 1893. Machinery Hall "is 846 feet long by 492 feet wide, not including the annex which is 490 feet by 550 feet, or the power house 100 by 461 feet, the pumping house 77 by 84 feet, or the machine shop 146 by 250 feet. In all, the exhibit of machinery is housed in structures which cover about twenty acres. . . ." Flinn, J., ed. “The Official Guide to the World’s Columbian Exposition.” (Chicago: The Columbian Guide Company, 1893), p.70. The building was connected to the Agricultural Building by a colonnade on the south side of the Great Basin. Exhibits included machinery for the manufacture of paper boxes, wood-working, sewing, measuring coffee, making tags and labels, setting type, and making bricks among other machines.".
