Sorry, we couldn't find anything matching "The architectural design for the Parkland College campus was unique to the area -- a cluster of connecting structures which allowed compatible expansion as enrollment increased. The first Board of Trustees for Parkland College was elected in 1966. William M. Staerkel was the first College President and he was appointed in October of that same year. Architects for the campus were Ernest J. Kump & Associates who were from Palo Alto, California. The College opened in 1967 and on the first day of registration, 1,338 students were enrolled. Tuition at the time was $4.50 per credit hour! The permanent campus was opened in Fall 1973 on the 233 acre site of the McMillan-Ehler farm.".
