Sorry, we couldn't find anything matching "When Paul Revere occupied this house, it was almost one hundred years old. It had several additions and alterations over time. During the nineteenth century, it housed several businesses, including a cigar factory and a tailoring shop. Early in the twentieth century, the Paul Revere Memorial Association was formed to preserve the building. This process brought the house back to its 1680 appearance, with an overhanging second story, a medieval English influence that was popular in seventeenth century Boston. Although the restoration project was intended to preserve the home of a great patriot, the result looks nothing like it did when he lived there.".
