On the evening of April 14, 1865, John Wilkes Booth fired this small derringer into the back of Abraham Lincoln’s head, inflicting a mortal wound. Lincoln was attending a play at Ford's Theater. The gun is on exhibit at the Ford’s Theater Museum in Washington D.C., a National Park Service site.

Off-white colored stone projectile point. Equilateral shaped head with a notched stem and a lower flared base. Sharp edges on two sides and point. Probably late Hopewell/Woodland period.

Brown leather tear-drop shaped flask with a brass nozzle and powder measure built in. Spring-loaded lever opens the base, then the flask. Raised picture of a dog (a retriever) under a tree is on both sides of the body. Flask has a wire loop on the bottom for a strap.
