This album contains photographs taken at the Veterans Administration Hospital (formerly a branch of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers) in Danville, Ill. between 1898 and 1908. The album belonged to Joseph Gurney Cannon, who represented Illinois in the House of Representatives for 46 years and served as Speaker of the House from 1903-1911.
