Painted chimney brick located May 1986. Stretcher and header on one side painted light chocolate brown with some mortar remnants. Very dirty, some chips. L 8 1/2" x W 4 1/16" x D 2".

The B. F. Harris house, which is now the Carle Pavilion, is located at 809 West Church Street. The B.F. Harris family founded the Cattle Bank, The First National Bank, and owned the Urbana and Champaign Railway, as well as the End Amusement Park on West Church Street (now Eisner Park). In 1904, B.F. Wood engraving showing a collage of homes in various "frames", surrounded by dasies. Homes are numbered and ID'd with a key. Homes are: Webster, Washington, Lincoln and Garfield birthplaces, Monticello, Mt. Vernon, Lincoln Home, and the Hermitage. Lincoln Home has large tree blocking the view from front, with a lean-to attached to kitchen. Lincoln Home is #6. L 10" x W 7".
