Description
One letter from English physician William Benjamin Carpenter to William Allingham regarding a statement made by Mr. Alfred Russel Wallace regarding the "false accusations" Carpenter made against him and Mr. William Crookes both of whom are involved in spiritualism, Mr. Wallace is releasing a full exposure of such opinions in the next issue of Fraser. Carpenter states that he is giving Allingham the power of telling Wallace that he can back up such claims. He then discusses the connection between Mr. Crookes and American medium Anna Eva Fay, whom Carpenter refers to as just Eva Fay.
