The total cost of this beautiful new building was $4,670,000. It has a floor space of 200,000 square feet, and a book capacity of about 1,650,000 volumes." Postcard was never mailed.

Historic Tinker Cottage, 411 Kent St., Rockford, Illinois. This room was copied after Sir Walter Scott's library in Abbotsford, Scotland, and contains a very rare and interesting carved circular staircase. The sofa is the one used by Lincoln when he visited the home of John Manny in Rockford. The library also contains hundreds of rare and very old books.

Site of the Churchill 'Iron Curtain Address.' The Church of St. Mary Aldermanbury was located in London. Built in the 12th century, destroyed by the London fire and rebuilt in 1666. Destroyed by bombing in 1940. The entire structure moved to the Westminster College campus and re-erected atop the library. Champ Auditorium in the background.
