a lead keel weight on the bottom reads "B GRAVES DECOY". The body is painted various shades of brown with a dark patch on the wings. The head is turned back with the beak resting on its back. Dimensions are 14" l x 7-1/2" h x 5-1/2" with The mate is LVM1994.006.001.

A standing mallard duck ice decoy with a painted two part body, glass eyes and supported by a single iron leg with splayed foot. The head is green with a long yellow beak, the body is painted brown with PEORIA CS stencilled on the bottom in black paint. The wood is cypress or white pine. Dimensions are 13-1/4" h x 5-5/8" with The length from tail to tip of beak is 18".

The diameter of the rim is 12.2 cm. The height of the bale ears is 5.7 cm. The bucket bale is made of iron. The bale ears are welded to the rim. The lower portion of the bucket would have been made out of metal, probably sheet copper or brass. Bucket bales or kettles usually nested for compact shipping.
